Good Morning! Happy Hump Day! The middle of the week is my favorite especially because I get to post a message from Deepak Chopra. Today’s post is L stands for Love. I’m continuing on a series I started called the ‘Soul of Healing Affirmation’ by Deepak Chopra and Adam Plack. We started at the beginning of this year with the letter A and we’re now at letter L.

‘L stands for Love
Today I will renew myself by letting go of all expectations
Today I will consider the priorities in my life
Today, I will know that love is the only reality
That love is the most important priority
When this truth takes root in my heart, I will not be tempted to waste so much time on trivialities
When this truth takes root in my heart, I will not be tempted to waste time on the trivial and the benull
Today, I will stake my life on what is timeless
Today, I will be redeemed through love
As the Upanishads say, it is not for the sake of the beloved that I feel love but for the sake of the self
Today I will put my attention on the self and use this affirmation to crystallize all those that have come before me
I will allow the words to lead me into a state of meditative peace
I will let the words enter my heart and soothe it with my reassurance
I will remind myself, in my garden, the rose opened
But I was too much in a hurry and passed it by
Love remembered me and said ‘I will make a rose bloom in your heart’
Today I will remind myself that my body in the garden of my soul
Today I will renew myself by letting go of all expectations
Today I will consider the priorities in my life
Today I will know that love is the only reality’
