So this past Monday I joined in a training session at World Gym, the trainer is a friend of mine that has transformed her body and competes in the NPC (National Physique Committee) Bikini Contest. I left the gym knowing I would be sore the next day or days. The next morning wasn’t as bad as I thought and day after was a little less pain. So overall experience was awesome, the training was great doing things I’ve never done for the upper body and using a band for my squats. Yes please.
But this prompted me to do a little research and I found this article from www.DailyBurn.com about muscle soreness and thought I’d share. Some myths or misconceptions debunked about muscle soreness. And also DOMS stands for Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness. I was too curious not to know.
Happy Lifting,
Melissa
